The Redwood City Downtown Library

The Redwood City Downtown Library is located at 1044 Middlefield Road in Redwood City. The Redwood City Library Foundation office is located in the downtown library location.

The Teen Center and the Community Room that includes the loop for the hard-of-hearing are in the downtown library. Dad and Me meets at the Downtown Library the 1st Saturday of every month.

The Redwood Shores Library

The Redwood Shores Library is located at 399 Marine Parkway in Redwood City, CA.

In May 2008, the Redwood City Library Foundation announced the successful completion of its “Campaign for the Opening Day Collection” for its Redwood Shores Library. The campaign raised $850,000 to purchase materials to fill the new Redwood City Library branch.

The Foundation worked with the Redwood Shores Community Association to raise the funds through challenge grants, special events, and personal solicitations. All  donations were used to purchase books, magazines, audio books, e-books, CDs, DVDs, and other materials.

Dad and Me meets at the Redwood Shores library Library once a month.

The Schaberg Library

The Schaberg Library branch of the Redwood City Library is located at 2140 Euclid Avenue in Redwood City, CA.  Children’s story times are presented twice a week at the Schaberg Library.

The Fair Oaks Library

The Fair Oaks Library is located at 2510 Middlefield Road in Redwood City. Fair Oaks is the smallest branch of the four Redwood City libraries, with just 27,000 library materials in a 32,000-square-foot building.

The greatest need for the library is for picture books, fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults, English as a second language (ESL) materials, magazines for teens, and DVDs for family viewing.

Donations for collection materials for the Fair Oaks Library can be made on our Redwood City Library Donation page or mailed to Redwood City Library Foundation, 1044 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, Ca 94063. Donations to the library are fully tax deductible.
