WILD, WILD WEST - February 2018 - Devil's Canyon Brewery


The Redwood City Library Foundation will hold its annual Wild, Wild West Fundraiser again on May 13, 2017 at the Devil’s Canyon Brewery in 935 Washington Street, San Carlos, CA 94070. Featuring smoked barbeque, beer and wine, country music, and silent and live auctions, this is one evening you don’t want to miss! Don your western wear and join us in raising money for our libraries.

In partnership with the Redwood City Library and the Redwood City Parks and Recreation Department, STEAM Fest 2.0 (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) festival will be held on April 29th 2017, 11am-3pm, Courthouse Square, 2200 Broadway Street, Redwood City.  We expect over 5,000 plus attendees to this family-oriented festival featuring:

 

• Over 70+ exhibitors

• Hands-on activities (with prizes for children completing 10 activities on the map)

• Workshops and Classes

• Contests

• Speakers

 

Every exhibit and activity is hands-on creating hundreds of opportunities for all attendees to get exposure to new things in experiential ways,  teaching kids the importance of STEAM subjects in school and increasing their interest in STEAM careers by showing how this knowledge applies in every day life.  In addition, the San Mateo County History Museum will open the museum’s doors for a free day of STEAM and Maritime Day activities.
