About the State-of-the-Art Facility

Interpretive Center - Nautical Environment - Water Meets Land - Green Materials - Community Unification - Discovery and Access

Scheduled for opening in Summer of 2008, the Redwood Shores Library, planned for a 3.5 acre site at the intersection of Bridge and Marine Parkways, will soon become a reality.

This state-of-the-art facility, strategically positioned for ease of access, overlooks the Belmont Slough, where the water meets the land.  It becomes the "Last Piece of the Puzzle" for the long-sought-after quest of bringing library services to the Shores.

A facility of discovery and access to knowledge, our library draws opportunity for neighborhood unification closer through the provision of study and general-use rooms, a unique interpretive center and even a café.  Clearly a structure constituted for all!
