Traveling Storytime
Reaches the youngest members of our community through the joy of reading and being read to. More than 50 volunteers read to 55-plus childcare facilities on a weekly basis from July2005 to June 2006 for a total of over 18,000 child visits.  The Foundation funded this program.

Teen Homework Center
Provides computers and technical/tutoring assistance to help youths succeed in their educational goals. Over 3,000 students took advantage of the Center's resources during the 2005-2006 academic year.

Hearing Loop
Hearing impaired adults can enjoy programs and attend meetings in the library community room equipped with a Foundation-funded hearing loop. Endorsed by the local Shhh Association and installed in the summer of 2004, many adults have benefited from this device.

English Language Materials
Through the acquisition of English language written material and tapes, members of the Latino community can improve their language skills.  The Foundation provided funds to purchase these materials.

Dad & Me
Family ties are strengthened through the Foundation funded Saturday reading program Dad & Me @ the Library.
