Volunteers from the Young Professionals of the Bay Area will act as a leadership committee to RCLF in the development of the future Makers Space project in the Downtown Library. The group of young working professionals was formed couple of months ago and had several meetings with RCLF President Nancy Radcliffe, STEAM Fest Chair Keith Blackey and RCLF ED Rouslana Yaroslavsky in the Downtown and Fair Oaks libraries. The group will lead and observe local Makerspace workshops to identify community interests and recommend appropriate equipment purchases for the library. Volunteers will also assist with 2019 STEAM Fest on the Square and will help to raise the visibility of the project among their peers. We are very excited to have this group aboard.
