Announcement of Executive Director Transition

With a mix of gratitude and sadness, the Board of Directors announces the departure of Rouslana Yaroslavsky as Executive Director of the Redwood City Library Foundation. She has generously offered to stay on until we’ve found our next Executive Director. Since 2005 Rouslana has played a critical role in the growth and success of the Foundation, and while we will miss her and her limitless commitment, we wish her the best of luck as she looks for her next endeavor. On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, we want to thank her for the 15 years of dedicated service as a Board member, RCLF President and Executive Director.

Rouslana played a leading role in several capital campaigns, supported the creation of our advisory and auxiliary boards, led RCLF fundraising efforts for Early Childhood Learning Centers, Baby Bay in the Library, Bridging the Digital Divide, Career Online High School, STEAM Fest, Makerspace, and many other projects.

We cannot thank Rouslana enough for the passion and enthusiasm she has given the Redwood City Library Foundation over the past 15 years. She will be greatly missed by the Board, partners, and community alike. Before her departure, we plan on celebrating Rouslana with the valued members of our community.

We’ve launched a search for the new Executive Director of the Redwood City Library Foundation in partnership with the Arora Collective. Click here to view the job announcement.

We look forward to following the success of her career and are hopeful and excited for the next chapter of the Foundation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Board of Directors.
