Brainfuse: Empowering Learners of All Ages

Redwood City Public Library is dedicated to offering 24-hour online learning support for residents. Thanks to the Library Foundation’s partnership, one of the tools available to our community is Brainfuse—the on-demand learning platform that provides free access to live tutoring, job help, career planning, and skill-building resources for cardholders of all ages.
Adult users, as well as students, are taking advantage of Brainfuse services. This has expanded the platform’s impact beyond homework help, toward supporting a path of lifelong learning. In recent post-session surveys, 100% of respondents said they would recommend Brainfuse to a friend.
Brainfuse’s HelpNow feature continues to support students with live tutoring in math, science, writing, and social studies, all aligned with California state standards. However, the benefits don’t end there, as more adult learners are now using Brainfuse in meaningful ways.
Through the Adult Learning Center, community members can receive real-time guidance in academic subjects, high-school equivalency and citizenship test preparation, software skills, resume writing, career planning, English language learning, and Spanish practice language lab.
Donations to RCLF help ensure that Brainfuse remains free, accessible, and available 24 hours a day, creating opportunity and growth for our community.
